Laser Hair Removal
Removing unwanted facial or body hair is one of our most popular services for men and women of all skin tones. Dr. Frederick Fiber and our Certified Laser Specialists use the Candela Gentlelase® and GentleYAG® lasers. Both are FDA approved for permanent hair reduction. The Candela lasers also apply a cooling mist to the skin before each burst of laser light for maximum comfort and safety. The process also lightens freckles, age spots and vascular lesions.
Hair removal sessions are fast and comfortable. Due to the growth cycles of human hair, it generally takes a treatment period of 3 to 5 sessions to achieve the desired result. Hormonal levels also influence hair growth. As such, some clients may need additional sessions or periodic maintenance treatments.
Skin Tightening
You can have a more youthful face with minimal downtime. Our Candela GentleYAG® laser targets the deep layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production. The procedure results in an overall firming of the skin, tightening of the jowls, and minimizing of fine lines and wrinkles. While some clients may experience some redness following a treatment, most return to their normal activities immediately.
Facial Rejuvenation
For deep facial wrinkles, severe acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation, a more intense treatment may be needed. Dr. Fiber utilizes his surgical expertise and a combination of the GentleYAG and CO3 lasers to remove epidermal layers of skin. An anesthetic is used for client comfort. Recovery time is one to two weeks.
Vein Treatments
The Candela GentleYAG is specially suited to clients who want to eliminate spider veins on the face and legs. Generally a treatment period of two to three sessions is needed to achieve the desired results.
NOTE:
For all of the above services, clients must not tan (natural, spray-on or tanning bed) for 4 to 6 weeks prior to treatment, as well as throughout the treatment period and 4 to 6 weeks after the completion of the last treatment session.
Tattoo Removal
Tattoos looked great when we were 18 years old. But very often, clients change their opinion about their tattoos as the years go by. Laser tattoo removal is a growing request from our clients. The laser is able to lighten the tattoo ink in the dermal layer of the skin. Successful tattoo removal, however, depends on many factors such as the tattoo color, size, tattoo technique, and condition of the skin.

We are happy to provide price estimates for most procedures via telephone. Procedures, pre-treatment instructions and exact costs will be clearly explained during your no-obligation consultation. The initial consultation is $30. Should you proceed with one of the above services, your $30 consultation fee will be credited toward the price of your service.
