About Albuquerque Laser Center

Frederick Fiber, MD has been practicing medicine in Albuquerque since 1975. He is a Board Certified Surgeon in Ear Nose and Throat / Head and Neck with extensive experience with surgical lasers. Originally from Europe (Russia, Poland and Hungary), Dr. Fiber was trained at Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, Hungary and at Columbia University in New York City. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Ear, Nose, Throat/ Head and Neck Surgery. An avid cyclist and tennis player, Dr Fiber is very aware of skin damage from the sun as well as what can be done to repair and protect the skin.

Kari Piemont, ORT is a Laser Specialist with training and certification from the Candela Corporation and Advanced Aesthetics Cosmetic Laser Center. She is also surgical technician with an Associates Degree from NW Technical Institute in Arkansas. Kari came to Albuquerque in 2005. Most likely you will speak to her when you call for an appointment. She can tell you almost anything you want to know about lasers, our procedures, and skin care products.

Diana Pacheco, RN is a Laser Specialist with training and certification from the Candela Corporation and Advanced Aesthetics Cosmetic Laser Center. She received her RN from the University of New Mexico in 1997. As a registered nurse, Diana has extensive patient care experience, especially in mother and child care. As a soccer mom, she is educating her children and other soccer parents about skin care and sun protection.
